The world’s favorite Italian-American celebrity Chef Buddy Valastro, host of the hit baking series Cake Boss and head baker of Carlo’s Bakery in New Jersey and Cake Boss Café in New York Times Square, recently visited the Philippines for the TLC Festival 2016 held at the Bonifacio High Street in Taguig. He is joined by fellow TLC celebrities like Dan Churchill, Hayden Quinn and Janet Hsieh.

Bonifacio High Street was transformed into an international food crawl with makeshift global villages representing different countries like Australia, Italy, Japan, Philippines and the United States. The event featured food displays, food trucks, food tasting, cooking demos, fun games, free cupcakes, free drinks, various entertainment and exciting activities like art workshops and karaoke.

During his stay in the Philippines, Chef Buddy sang Bahay Kubo for his fans during the TLC Festival. He then conducted a cupcake decorating class for Pinoy chefs, celebrities, bloggers and media representatives. He also held a special cupcake workshop for Make-a-Wish-Foundation kids.

“This is my first time to visit the Philippines and I am overwhelmed by the wonderful and warm Filipino hospitality. Filipinos are so amazing and they make me feel at home and loved. I assure you that I’ll be back!” said Chef Buddy during the event.
